Farewell Michael Brantley – A really good baseball player from the Houston Astros, Michael Brantley, has decided to stop playing.
He’s been in the game for a while and has been chosen as an All-Star five times. Brantley says he’s retiring because he wants to be with his kids all the time and see them grow up without missing any important moments.
He played for Cleveland and then for the Astros. In 2014, he got a special award for being a great hitter and was considered one of the best players in the American League that year.

With the Astros, Brantley got close to winning the big championship several times, but it didn’t happen. Last season, he didn’t play much because of an injury.
We hope Brantley has a great time with his family now that he’s retired from baseball.
