Fox News Apologizes for Mistaken Tribute to Frank Thomas – Fox News made a big mistake today while trying to honor a former baseball player named Frank Thomas. They put up a picture of a different Frank Thomas, who used to play for the White Sox. The one they showed is still alive, luckily.

Baseball fans got upset and criticized Fox News for this mix-up. The news anchor, Julie Banderas, said sorry for the mistake and explained they got the wrong Frank Thomas.

The Frank Thomas who recently passed away was 93 years old and played baseball a long time ago, from 1951 to 1966. The other Frank Thomas played from 1990 to 2008.

The alive Frank Thomas, whose picture was mistakenly used, said he was shocked by Fox News’ mistake. He made it clear that he’s fine and well.
